Noah

Noah

A little joke to warm up the review:

‘I know the Bible backwards, its elbib’

Darren Aronofsky directs this popular story from the old testament. This would have been a challenge for him as the animals he had to work with increased by a massive number compared to his last movie ‘The Black Swan’.

He avoids the old argument of ‘surely all the animals would eat each other on the Arc’, by putting them all to sleep by smoking herbs. This was probably a new experience for the animals except for the birds cos they are used to being high.

The story of creation is told at the beginning which is nice for the snake because there hasn’t been a lot of work for snake actors since the boom in the market that was snakes on a plane.

Noah says the flood is coming to wipe out the wicked people, which must have been hard for him if he likes them so much that he thinks they are wicked.

I thought this would be pants but was actually alright. I give this 7 marks(immons) out of 10.
